Since joining Hunger Task Force, Tussler's accomplishments include organizing local program sponsors, plus state and federal administrators, to improve access to food for children during the summer months through the Summer Food Service Program; bartering a deal with the USDA for a pilot program to turn unpopular nonfat dry milk into mozzarrella cheese; securing large commodity distribution contracts from the state and federal governments in order to augment Hunger Task Force's ability to provide for Milwaukee's hungry and purchasing a dramatically improved office and warehouse facility.
