Coggs Human Services Center

inside the Coggs Center

In addition to the Robles Self Service Center, FoodShare applicants whose primary language is not English are encouraged to visit room 105 at the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center, 1220 W. Vliet Street in Milwaukee.

Hunger Task Force staff, who speak English, Spanish, and Hmong, have served over 20,000 people since opening in the summer of 2009. Hunger Task Force scans documents to the State, assists with client verification of necessary information to attain benefits, and helps applicants during their interview and application process. In January 2011 alone, we scanned over 4700 documents for verification.

The Coggs building is also equipped with a Quest card machine, so clients who have successfully applied for FoodShare can leave with their benefits on the same day.
