Touchdowns for Charity

For the eighth consecutive season, Sargento and the Green Bay Packers teamed up to support "Touchdowns for Charity," a program that raises money for Wisconsin communities. During the 2009 season, Sargento donated $1,000 to Hunger Task Force for every touchdown scored by the Packers ($54,000 on 54 TDs) throughout the regular season, then raised the stakes in the postseason by doubling the contribution for each touchdown ($12,000 on six TDs).

And then they went one step further! Saargento rounded up their totals so Hunger Task Force received a total of $70,000.

Since partnering seven years ago, Sargento - the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field - has contributed more than $500,000 to Wisconsin food charities including Hunger Task Force. Following each Packers home game, a running total of the money raised was displayed on Lambeau Field's TundraVision, as well as announced via an in-game public address message.
