Rev. Art Simon will share the surprising story of how God uses ordinary people to make an extraordinary difference in the lives of hungry people. He is the founder and president emeritus of Bread for the World.

He will be in Appleton on April 11 sharing his story, talking about his new book, The Rising of Bread for the World: An Outcry of Citizens Against Hunger and reflecting on his decades of advocacy for hungry people.

The event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP so we can plan for lunch. The event will be held at First English Lutheran Church, North Site, 6331 N. Ballard Road, Appleton on Sunday, April 11 from noon to 3 p.m.
