Learn the steps to creating a breastfeeding-friendly worksite at an upcoming workshop called “Implementing ‘The Business Case for Breastfeeding’ in Your Community”.

Kendall Cox from Every Mother, Inc. will lead the training which will cover:

• Why breastfeeding is good for business

• Conducting effective outreach with business

• Easy steps to implement a lactation support program at a worksite

The workshop will be held on May 27 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30p.m. at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel and Conference Center in Appleton.

The training is provided by a special grant and national initiative of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) and Health Resource and Service Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau to increase breastfeeding duration and exclusivity rates among employed mothers.
