Hunger Task Force thanks you!

To all those who filled their donation bag with food and left it by their mailbox on Saturday, May 8 to help us Stamp Out Hunger, we thank you for being part of the largest one-day food drive in the nation.

To the letter carriers who collected each and every bag of food, while working their usual route on Saturday, we thank you as well.

To the over 600 volunteers who worked at local post offices sorting food on site, we thank you!

And our sponsors who make so many aspects of the drive possible, National Association of Letter Carriers’ Pioneer Branch 2, Piggly Wiggly, Johnson Controls and United Way of Greater Milwaukee, we thank you too!

We are very pleased to announce that donations in the state of Wisconsin were up 15% over last year, with a total of 3,097,750 pounds of food collected in ONE DAY!
