Over the summer we doubled our Stockbox load, meaning 10,000 local senior citizens living on a very fixed income are able to pick up a box of groceries each month for the rest of their lives! With so many folks receiving a monthly box, we need your help at the pick up sites, so would you and your co-workers, friends or neighbors want to adopt a Senior Stockbox Site??
We are looking for volunteers with good people skills because you will be working directly with the Stockbox clients and you will need to assist them with some paperwork. You may also be asked to assist seniors in getting their box of food to their vehicle (box ways about 35 pounds). This is a monthly committment and is a wonderful way to give back to your community!
Volunteers needed at the following locations and dates – choose one or 2 sites to volunteer at only once a month and bring a family member or friend to help!
