K's For A Cause
Milwaukee is a caring community. Hunger Task Force is a wholly donor funded agency and even with an over 25% increase in traffic in our network, we have kept up with the demand. How? Because of YOU. The people of Milwaukee have added non-perishable food items to their grocery list. They have come to our agency and sorted food with their company and family.
And because of companies like Foley & Lardner working with the Milwaukee Brewers to create the K’s For A Cause program.
How does helping a good cause while you enjoy baseball at Miller Park get cooler? When you sign up today, donating a one time, flat fee of $50 or if you pledge 10 ¢ per strikeout, you will officially Join the Cause and we will send you one of the t-shirts shown above.
And just for fun, let's add Brewer closer Trevor Hoffman into the mix! Hoffman will donate to the Cause whenever a Brewer pitcher strikes out a batter at Miller Park.
Get involved. It can be a one-time donation toward the program or as little as a penny per strike out. (In 2009, Brewer pitchers punched out 620 batters at Miller Park.) Here's what that would have looked like:
