Every year, 3,000 volunteers help Hunger Task Force to feed the poor today and to advocate for an end to hunger tomorrow. This exceptional level of volunteerism assists Hunger Task Force's staff of 30 paid employees to address effectively both the symptoms of hunger and its underlying causes. Get involved today!
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be 12 or older. Some duties require heavy lifting or standing, so be sure to read the details of each assignment. Community service volunteers are welcome if over 18 (both pre-arranged university service learning and court ordered service). Some restrictions apply.
How can I get started?
Volunteers interested in volunteering directly at the Hunger Task Force facility are required to attend an orientation session. Orientations are held at Hunger Task Force, 201 S. Hawley Court, last approximately 45 minutes and require no advance scheduling. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start time. Upcoming orientation dates.
