We believe in the power of collaboration, and that’s why we’re thrilled to recognize our amazing supporters through “Partner of the Month,” a platform to celebrate the incredible local organizations, businesses and companies who join us in the fight against hunger. They donate food, volunteer their time, raise awareness and provide financial support – strengthening our work in preventing hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger-free community tomorrow.

More than just a trusted news outlet, CBS 58 has become a longtime partner in mobilizing community resources for families in need. Their signature holiday partnership with Hunger Task Force and the Brewers Community Foundation ensures that Thanksgiving isn’t just a season of thanks, but also a time to provide warm, healthy meals for Milwaukee families in need.
Each November, CBS 58 hosts its annual Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Drive at American Family Field, encouraging cars to drop off frozen turkeys, nutritious foods and monetary donations benefitting Hunger Task Force. Since its inception, the event has collected over one million pounds of food and tens of thousands of turkeys – resources that directly support families across Milwaukee.
Hunger Task Force serves 50,000 people each month including children, seniors, veterans and families who rely on our pantries and meal sites for healthy, culturally familiar food. CBS 58’s visibility, reach and hands-on leadership mobilize critical resources while shining a spotlight on the urgent reality of hunger in our community. The Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Drive is more than a one-day event. It provides an easy, accessible way for the community to come together, contribute, and make a real difference in feeding neighbors when they need it most.
