Partner of the Month: Alter Metal Recycling

May 19, 2026

Alter Metal Recycling

Alter Metal Recycling launched “Go Green for The Green” in 2021 as an extension of their long-standing commitment to the communities they serve. The family-owned company created this metal-recycling fundraiser to give community organizations a meaningful way to raise money while also helping the public learn more about the value of recycled metal and the environmental and economic benefits of keeping those materials in circulation to feed manufacturer supply chains and keep them out of the landfills.

Alter Metal Recycling chose Hunger Task Force to be the Milwaukee beneficiary because it is supported entirely by the local community. Food is collected and delivered at no cost to local pantries and communities in poverty-stricken areas and the Farm harvests fresh produce and is taken from the field to the food pantry in 48 hours. In today’s economy, Alter Metal Recycling found it extremely important to partner with Hunger Task Force because the organization’s various programs reach so many people in need.
