2017 Kick Hunger Challenge Dinner
On Monday, October 23, join Hunger Task Force, Sanford Restaurant and Packers Hall of Fame center and Super Bowl Champion Frank Winters for an exclusive dinner event in support of the 2017 Kick Hunger Challenge. The Kick Hunger Challenge is a national fundraising campaign of Taste of the NFL, which pairs up local chefs with food banks to raise funds for hunger relief.
The event will take place at Sanford Restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. A social hour kicks off the evening at 5:30pm with a cash bar, complimentary passed appetizers and a raffle for an autographed Jordy Nelson game jersey. Guests will be seated for a 4-course dinner at 6:30pm, which will include:
- Cured Uplands Pork Shoulder and Pleasant Ridge Reserve, Apple and Turnip, Beer Vinegar Reduction
- Seared Sea Scallop with Caramelized Brussels Sprouts and Roasted Pumpkin Soup
- Fennel Dusted Strip-loin of Beef with Preserved Corn Cream, Parmesan and Truffle
- Dried Wisconsin Cherry and Peach Steamed Ale Pudding, Gingerbread Ice Cream.
WKLH Rock & Roll Roots host Steve Palec will also host a Q&A with Frank Winters for guests before dessert is served.

Dinner is $125/person and includes passed appetizers, 2 raffle tickets, 4-course dinner and wine pairing. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase during the social hour. Each guest will also receive an autographed Frank Winters photograph. (Guests are asked not to bring any personal memorabilia to sign.)
