Rick Lewandowski Has Been Feeding Hungry Seniors for Nearly 20 Years
In 2004, Rick Lewandowski walked through the doors of Hunger Task Force eager to make a difference in his hometown by ensuring hungry seniors received Stockboxes – a box of supplementary food to low-income seniors – every month. Little did he know, nearly 20 years later, he’d still be working every day to improve the lives of Milwaukee’s vulnerable seniors as the organization’s first Senior Services Director.

Hunger Task Force Celebrates Touchdowns for Hunger Success with Sargento and Packers alumnus John Kuhn
The Green Bay Packers and Sargento Foods teamed up for the 22nd season of Touchdowns for Hunger™, scoring big for Hunger Task Force. With each Packers touchdown during the 2024 regular season, Sargento donates $2,000 to help fight hunger in Wisconsin.

Sargento and Hunger Task Force Partner with the Milwaukee Brewers to raise $60,000 to feed those in need
As part of the Double Helping for Hunger campaign, for every double hit by the Brewers, Sargento Foods Inc. donated $200 to Hunger Task Force to help feed those in need this holiday season. After 258 doubles hit by the team in 2021, $51,600 was donated to the Milwaukee Food bank on behalf of the Brewers.
