Ending Hunger is Our Mission

Fresh Picks Mobile Market

Pick ‘n Save, Milwaukee County and Hunger Task Force are proud to partner in the opening of the Pick ‘n Save Fresh Picks Mobile Market. This grocery store on wheels travels throughout Milwaukee County to visit neighborhoods and communities that have limited access to fresh and healthy foods. Hunger Task Force was recently awarded a large federal grant to support this innovative work.

Along with other staples, the Fresh Picks Mobile Market offers 40+ seasonal fruits and vegetables and 10+ high demand meat and dairy items. The market does not sell canned items or processed foods.

The market accepts debit cards, credit cards and Quest EBT. No cash is onboard or accepted. Hunger Task Force FoodShare Outreach staff will help eligible people apply for FoodShare during market operating hours. The market is an active store, not a food pantry or donation center.

Look for our truck and trailer traveling the streets of Milwaukee County! And if it’s parked, stop in and check it out for yourself. Anyone can shop the Mobile Market.  The market operates Monday – Friday and features a rotating monthly schedule.
