The principal strength of Hunger Task Force is its compassionate and committed staff. Hunger Task Force is proud to announce the addition of three new faces to our Advocacy, Outreach and Nutrition teams. We are thrilled to welcome Aretha, Maja and Melanie to their new roles at Hunger Task Force.

Volunteer of the Month: Linda Kollatz
Each month Hunger Task Force is honored to recognize an individual or group who go above and beyond in their service to the organization. From food sorting and building healthy food boxes for seniors to helping individuals shop the Mobile Market and harvesting at The Farm, volunteers help Hunger Task Force feed people today and support our work in ending future hunger.

Hunger Task Force Energizes Fight Against Hunger with Solar Installation
Hunger Task Force is proud to announce the successful installation and connection of their 89-kilowatt solar array. The solar panels, installed by Arch Solar, have transformed Hunger Task Force’s facility into an energy-efficient hub, enabling them to focus more on their mission of ending hunger in the community.

Shalom Center, a Hunger Relief Federation member dedicated to combating hunger in Kenosha County, serves the community through a long-standing soup kitchen, an emergency food pantry serving thousands and innovative partnerships.

Hunger Task Force Introduces Box Delivery for Homebound Seniors
Hunger Task Force is excited to offer a brand new method for getting healthy, shelf-stable food items to seniors with the Stockbox DoorDash program. In partnership with United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County and DoorDash, Hunger Task Force kicks off this pilot delivery program that provides a free Stockbox to homebound, income-eligible seniors.
